When Sincerely Yours Events needed a database of candy and sweets for putting together upscale event candy tables, they asked me to build a comprehensive catalog that would include options from multiple vendors. For the project, I inventoried the stock of preferred sweets vendors, created a numeric data system and designed a layout that featured each candy, sweet or decorative good individually. I then created order forms and a catalog database sheet that follows the nomenclature in the book. The catalog features categories ranging from cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies to cupcake wrappers, sweets boxes and ribbon.
